Book Collector Sally Jechura from Chicago Ill. August, 2015

Hello John, So nice to "meet" you. I think you will be very happy to see that this is something very special. This is a school notebook from 1934 with the name Robert Spoonamore on the inside, and on every page. Would he have been in the 7th or 8th grade at that time? The subject was zoology (I believe what we would call biology today). This notebook has his class notes, but better yet, it has many drawings that he did for his class. There are probably over 100 pages. He was quite a good student it appears. His artwork is very good. I will send a few photos in the next email. If you believe this Robert is your brother, please allow me to send this to you as a gift. If you are comfortable giving me your address. I live in Chicago now, and purchased this at a flea market a week ago. Hello! 24 August, 2015 Here is a little collage I made with a few photos of the notebook. The notebook itself is a 3 ring binder, black, with a 1933/34 calendar printed on the inside back. It was probably one you would buy at the school bookstore. The papers are clean, no odors or mold or dampness. Very nicely preserved. It makes me curious where it has been hiding all of these years.
