ohn Calvin Livingston was the son of James M. Livingston and Josephine Catherine Chamberlain, of Burnet Co., TX. Husband of Carrie Stephen, whom he married in Burnet, TX, in 1895. They were the parents of seven children: John Lafayette; Vera Pauline; Arthur Beno; Helen Phyllis; Don Dayton; Max Louis; and Audrey (Trixie). According to Livingston family lore, John avenged the murder of his brother, George W., in TX by an irate husband, killing the latter and then fleeing to AZ, where he spent the rest of his life.
