CUBA -- Paul E. Crnkovich, 73, of 654 E. Harrison St. died at 7:05 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 21, 1997, at his residence.

Born Sept. 17, 1924, in St. David to Paul J. and Annie Thomas Crnkovich, he married Darlene Behymer on Jan. 8, 1949, in Keokuk, Iowa. She died Nov. 13, 1969. One brother and one grandson also preceded him in death.

Surviving are one son, Kim of Galesburg; one daughter, Jan Barker, with whom he made his home; two sisters, Mary Lee Crnkovich and Ilene Lopeman, both of St. David; and three grandchildren.

He worked at International Harvester Co. in Canton for 351/2 years, retiring on Jan. 31, 1982. He was a World War II Marine Corps veteran.

He was of the Catholic faith.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Henry Memorial Home in Cuba. The Rev. Randy McGeehon will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday at the memorial home. Burial will be in Cuba Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Cass-Putman Rescue Squad.
