Frank…………. Col. Frank James Hills

Col. Frank J Hills was a Career Officer in the US Service, he was a leader in many area's of the Service. Frank was C.O. of the 836th AAFSD in Indianapolis, IN. Col Hills helped equip the Raiders earlier in his career and guided the construction of air fields in North Africa where he encountered Doolittle and other Raiders once again.
Hills, Frank J., Lt Col, Commander, Berteaux Air Base, N Africa (381BS Apr 43 eom - Silver Star for heroic action in rounding up Arab spies during the early days of the African Campaign) Col Hills served in the 310th Bomb Group (B-25 Mediums in the MTO) as Supply Officer among his other duties.
