Agnes Belushi, 64, mother of actors John and Jim Belushi. She and her husband, Adam, raised their four children in Wheaton, Ill., where Belushi owned a restaurant and Mrs. Belushi worked in a pharmacy. John Belushi, who died of a drug overdose in 1982, bought a house for his parents in California after his fame grew from appearances on television's "Saturday Night Live" and in films. The couple lived there for a short time before returning to Illinois. On Thursday in Addison, Ill., of cancer.

Services for Agnes Belushi, 64, the mother of actor Jim Belushi and the late John, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Nicholas Albanian Orthodox Church, 2701 N. Narragansett Ave. She died Thursday at home in Addison after battling cancer.

Mrs. Belushi was born in Akron, Ohio, and lived there until she married her husband, Adam, in 1946. They settled in Wheaton, where the two famous Belushi brothers grew up. Mr. Belushi owned a restaurant where John sometimes worked, and Mrs. Belushi worked at a pharmacy.

After John became famous for his work on the televison show ``Saturday Night Live`` and in movies and bought his parents a house, they lived in California for a time.

In recent years, Mrs. Belushi had attended several high-profile charity events in the Chicago area.

Besides Mrs. Belushi`s husband and son, James, survivors include a daughter, Marian; another son, William; two grandchildren; three sisters and three brothers.
