Wales: Killed, just before the arrival of the 11 o'clock east bound passenger train at Goodells last Saturday, two freight trains, one from the east, the other from the west, pulled into the station. the latter coming slowly intending to take the side track to let the passenger train pass. Mr. I. Presley being in the tank house, stepped out onto the track in front of the train, was knocked down by it and instantly killed. His head struck against the iron rail, which probably caused death as there was no cut upon his body.
The accident - reported in Post Huron Tribune (Thursday) November 19, 1891. Located under Goodells and Wales. Killed by Train at Goodells - one train on sidetrack and the eastbound train his him and he died a the scene. He just came down from the engine house above the tank.
