BRAUGHT/BRAUCHT, BRUNER, RILEY, RUGGLES families of USA

TOPIC

The Braught/Braucht families arrived in PA about 1755 to settle mostly around Dauphin Co., but some in Juniata, Mifflin or Centre Counties in PA. Many later moved to Mercer Co., IL area or Warren Co., IA. Several special Braught family records with US Civil War history are included. Recent Braught family history highlights Iowa, OK, and TX. My Bruner line from Schifferstadt, Germany includes Jacob and wife, Maria Barbara Sturm/Storm. There are family US Rev. War Bruner veteran reports well documented leading to KY, IN, IL, and IA. William Riley/Reilly and wife Susannah Woods from County Cork, Ireland include my line from their son James who married Celia Maxfield abt. 1773 at Baltimore, MD. John Ruggles and wife Elizabeth Wilson (both of MD) married 1812 in Shelby County, IN and some of their descendants moved to Warran Co., IA, but I have less documentation on this line than the other three surnames mentioned here. I am interested in exchanging information on any of these families, but can best document the Braught/Braucht (also Brought) people in USA the past two hundred or more years.
