On July 5, 1687, Isaac Newton published his reknowned work Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica, presenting theories of mathematics in relation to natural sciences. Within the text of the document are his famous laws on motion, in addition to his proclaimed law of univeral gravitation, which presented theories on the orbital rotations of planets. Scientists regard this work as among the most important in modern science, with Newton at the forefront of the Scientific Revolution.
