The Palmer Raids begin in the United States.

Jan 2, 1920: Adhering to popular sentiment, fear of foreigners and communists receives more attention.

After increased apprehension with the supposed presence of tyranny in the United States, U.S. Attorney General Alexander Mitchell, under the direction of President Woodrow Wilson begins a series of infiltrations, accusing citizens of radicalism.  During these tumultuous years of 1919 and 1921, various political groups were accused, thus raising the tension felt by American citizens as a result of immigration and the Great War, ending only years before.
