The record of the estate sale of Eliza Ford Holmes documents the sale of Washington Plantation in Berkeley, SC and 83 slaves.

Washington Plantation was sold to Dr. Elias Horry Deas, and the enslaved families there were sold to Daniel Heyward.

Washington Plantation was located on the west side of the Cooper River in Berkeley County, South Carolina.
