Lewistown, IL - Nancy J. Weirauch, 50, of East Milton Road passed away at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at Graham Hospital, Canton, IL, surrounded by her family and friends.
She was born Oct. 5, 1958, in Canton, the daughter of Robert and Jessie (Pruett) Weirauch. 
Survivors include her life partner, Penni Harris; two sisters, Merrilee Weirauch and Melodee (Charles) Rudolph, both of Lewistown; and her lifelong friend, Reba Ford. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews, Brandi and Nick May, Brandon, Jesse Robert and Waylon May, all of Lewistown, Jennifer and George Sorbara, Sophie, Stella and Scarlett Sorbara, and Michael, Julie and Grace Tarvin, all of Naples, Fla.
She was preceded by her parents; one sister, Roberta Weirauch; and one nephew, Bobby Weirauch.
Nancy was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was deeply loved by her family and friends.
Nancy was employed at the Fulton County Assessors Office.
She played softball and basketball while attending Spoon River College. She also had played for the Canton Redbirds Women's fast pitch league, and had coached girls softball for the Lewistown Park District. 
She was a member of the Lewistown VFW Auxiliary, and served on the liquor commission for the city of Lewistown.
She was involved in many local civic activities including the annual Glenn Hillig Poker Run. 
She was of the Catholic faith.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2009, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lewistown, with Monsignor Robert O'Connor officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown. Visitation will be Friday, April 17, 2009, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown, with a rosary service at 4:30 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lewistown Rescue Squad.
