Benson, Henry (Wagonmaster) -- b. 1755 d. 1828. Grave located several miles south of New Hebron, near mouth of Silver Creek, near Pearl River, Lawrence County, Mississippi. Marker placed in small Benson Cemetery where Henry's son, Pharaoh and Grandson Charles are buried now called Drummond Hill, unkept and deserted. Henry's daughter Lena Newson buried 12 miles north, nearer New Hebron between New Hebron and Silver Creek. Government marker. Served in Virginia Line.

Carlton (Carleton) Joseph -- b. 1 October 1763. d. 23 March 1858. Private in Virginia, 1st Virginia Regiment. Payroll from Archives. Mrs. J. D. McGill, Jr., Rt. 2, Box 289, Tupelo, MS reported that because of vandalism in Carlton Cemetery between Gadsden and Boaz, Alabama, Mrs. Charles Sheppard of Gadsden (also a descendant of Joseph Carleton) had the marker placed at her plot in the Gadsden Cemetery. Joseph Carleton is buried in the Sheppard Plot, Attalla Cemetery, Attalla, Alabama.

Gerault, John -- b. 24 Feb. 1755. d. 28 May 1813. b. London, England. Marker on the Court House Lawn, at his death the cemetery was a block in the middle of Natchez, Mississippi. After a new cemetery was established some graves were moved as the Roman Catholic Church was built on the block in 1832.
