Confederate Casualty Reports

These records include lists of casualties, statistical lists, and narrative reports created by participating Confederate units after military engagements in the Civil War. They submitted the reports to the Office of the Adjutant and Inspector General to help the Confederacy understand the condition and strength of its forces. The records include lists and reports of casualties in individual states, by a single unit in more than one state, and in Indian Territory.
