   Is this John Talman of Flushing. Peter Talman of Rhode Island (1649) had a son, John, that went to Long Island to Flushing, this being part of his family, one or two generations later

   I have seen documents elsewhere that make reference to John Talman of Flushing being a delegate to the Continental Congress, the family leaving LI at the time of the Rev. War and being refugees to Connecticut and elsewhere, I am researching Talmans
