Jack Johnson wins the "Fight of the Century" 4 July 1910 in Reno, Nevada
Johnson, the first African-American world heavyweight boxing champion, beat former undefeated heavyweight champion James J. Jeffries who came out of retirement for the fight. Reported in the Chicago Tribune 5 July 1910.
