BrigGen Carnot Posey
BGen Carnot Posey, 16 Miss Infantry Regt. Posey enlisted in the Wilkinson Rifles, Woodville, Miss on 21 April 1861 and died of a gunshot wound to the thigh, 13 Nov 1863 at the home of Dr. Davis, Charlottesville, VA. He is buried at the Univ. of VA.
