My name is Travis Whitehead ( travis4 at adelphia.com ) and our research has crossed paths. The David Whitehead (1761) that wrote for widow Pool had a brother James born 1763 who married Phebe Serring in 1787. I am assuming she was a sister to Susann

There also may very well be a Philadelphia connection as James had several sons that were cordwainers that moved to Phila from Essex NJ where they were born. One had a Pool living with them there. please email me

Hello Travis Whitehead,travis4 at adelphia dot net-I have had a family write me abt Quaker Poole's vs Methodist Poole's (WilmingtonDE)- others have PA confusion, but orig research is lacking. Maybe ___ POOL in Phily fits? I lack answers for SERRING.
