Editorial cartoon critical of freedom of speech (1968)

Note that the artist uses the highly dubious version of "Washington's Prayer" to make his case. Moreover, the anti-protest message - protected by the First Amendment - seeks to discourage that right for others.

    Was Washington at Valley Forge in 1783? I had thought he was there much earlier.
