Ivey Kaylor, white man, residing near Americus; was jailed this morning on a charge of murder fromt he killing of a negro farmer, Stephen Clarke, Sunday morning. Kaylor, allegedly , went to the home of ht eold negro and shot him as he sat in the home

    Ivey Kaylor is my mother's uncle. I have always been told that he was a very bad man and that he had killed one or two people. This is the first time that I have found any information in print about this. Wow, very surreal!
