Bathless

The story behind the name: The crew of this Lib named it "Bathless" as a tribute to the crew's experience floating in the Pacific for 5 days & 6 nights when their first Liberator (I don't know what that plane was named) had to be abandoned in a water landing due to battle damage & low fuel. My grandfather, by the time of "Bathless" was 1st Lt. Neil Adelbert Chapman, "Chappie" to his crew, bombardier of the crew. He later died in Korea when a bomb exploded in the belly of his B-29.
