Just visible to the left of the cross is 'B3', indicating this aircraft to be from KG54. To the left of this can be seen a diagonal stripe. This unit used this marking to denote the Gruppe within the squadron. I believe this stripe to have been yellow and similar in shade to the letter 'B' on the right of the cross, so I think this denotes III.Gruppe, KG54. I believe the full code would have been B3+BT, denoting 9.Staffel/KG54
