Ju88
Ju88A-5 subtype, characterised by lack of asymetric blisters on the lower engine cowlings, straight rudder hinge line at top of tailplane and non-blistered rear section to cockpit canopy. The A-5 was a stop-gap variant which incorporated the longer span wing of the later A-4. It was out of chronological order because the A-4 airframes were ready but the Jumo 211 engines intended for that version weren't. The A-5 used the previous sub-type's engines coupled with the A-4 airframe.
