RUFFIN, E. T.
On internal cards he is also listed as E. F. Ruffin. This appears to be the man for whom Mason Burrows wrote the "Signal Corps Schottische." Ruffin has a bit of trouble in Charleston (his record is a lengthy read) and Burrows appears to stand behind his Lt. and show it publicly by diedicating the composition to him.
