that he was in the battles of Trenton--Princeton-- Hubbardstown--Stillwater (two battles) & Newtown--that he recd. a shot through the arm in a skirmish with the Indians in Canada, in 1776--& another through his shoulder at Hubbardstown, in the retreat from Ticonderoga, in 1777--
