Call to Butler 2 Dec 1836
In this lengthy letter Call expresses bitterness at having been superceded in his command of troops in Florida. Call defends his actions in the expedition to the Cove of the Withlacoochee and denies that he mounted a campaign without arranging for needed supplies beforehand.
