Ferenc KORNFELD is my father's first cousin.

Ferenc's mother, Gisella GRÜNWALD, was born in Dunaszerdahely, Hungary (now Dunajska Streda, Slovakia). Gisella (Ella) and her husband Armin KORNFELD, perished in Auschwitz. Ferenc (Frantisek) was also in Buchenwald, Schlieben, Flossberg and Mauthausen. He survived and lived the rest of his life in Dunajska Streda with his wife and son. He died at the age of 83 in 2007.
