Letter from D. M. Bell, probably 1863, in Sterling Price's Army
A very interesting and newsy letter from D. M. Bell, a Missouri soldier in Sterling Price's command. It was probably written in 1863, because the army is marching west toward the Mississippi River which it will soon be crossing.
