BAKER, Levi S. 1851 residence
Baker, Levi, Laborer, at R. C. Bristol's. Chicago City Directory for 1851, p. 20. Perhaps (?) Levi Baker lived at or above Bristol's business: Bristol, R. C., Forwarding and Commission cor[ner] Lake and Market. Chicago City Directory 1851, p. 34. Note, this Market is now probably the 100N block of Wacker Dr. This corner is only 3 blocks from Levi Baker's 1849-50 address, so perhaps he was still living on Clinton between Washington & Madison.
