Confederate Fortifications at Atlanta, GA, 1864, by Mathew Brady
One of my relatives, William W. Redd, 37th Alabama, was killed at the Battle of Atlanta. Description reads: "At the end of Peachtree Street to the north of the city. Sherman had just taken possession, the man is a cavalryman of Sherman's forces."
