Letter from Lake Enterprise, Arkansas, March 29, 1863
A very nice letter from Henry Bass to his brother across the Mississippi River, describing conditions in his area. He does not want to see either army, and anticipates that the end of the war will just bring more lawlessness as men leave the military to jayhawk.
