1st wife Barbara Oberlies Kappmeier in 1878 was living at this same address where she claims she is widow of Bernard, however, he married Eliza Konig Werner in NYC in 1876. Bernie moves over to Willett Street, then after 1880 Census moves to Newark New Jersey with his second wife and 2 young sons.
