.Served as a Private in Company D, ( the Pee-Dee Guards ) 23rd North Carolina Inf. Mortally wounded during the Battle of Chancellorsville, Va. May 2-3 1863.. Thomas & Clarissa married Elizabeth & Eli Land. siblings of my gr grandfather James L Land.
