Letter from East Tennessee Unionist to his wife
M. H. Andrea, an East Tennessee federal soldier, wrote this letter to his wife Sarah and daughter Aggie when he was in Murfreesboro, TN, March 4, 1863. She wants to come to him, but he counsels waiting to see what the army does. It has been 12 mos since he has seen her. He counsels all to stay true to the Union.
