Thomas R. Adams writes from NYC, Feb. 20, 1865
Thomas Adams and a dozen of his friends have run the blockade from Raleigh, North Carolina, to "Uncle Sam's dominions" in New York City where they are "safe as a coon." He gives a brief description of Raleigh and gives news of other friends and family. A great letter!
