C. M. Bradford moves to intercept Camp Ford deserters, 1864
Bradford has been ordered to intercept a band of deserters from Anderson's Regiment who had abandoned their posts as prison guards at Camp Ford, near Tyler, Texas. He is stationing a company on the Colorado River.
