"First White Man Convicted of Killing a Black Man After Reconstuction!"

April 10th, 1921 a guilty verdict was issued and a life sentence was given to John Williams for the murder of a number of black workers on his farm. He spent the rest of his life in prison. It was known as the "Murder Farm"!
