Hezekiah married Rebecca Ann Lay at Paola in Lykins county, Kansas Territory on 15 Oct 1865 after being mustered out of Mcleans Independant Battery. The surname is mispelled as KINZEY. They are living in Jefferson county, Iowa in 1870 & 1880 census.

Oliver P. Hays married Rachel Mahala Templeton in 1843.. he enlisted in 1862 and died during the 2nd battle of Manassas in Virginia in 1862. There are two tombstones for them in the SKIRUM Methodist cemetery near Dawson in Dekalb county Alabama.

Oliver P. Hayes married Rachel Mahala Templeton in 1843. O.P. Hayes enlisted 48th Alabama Infantry in 1863. He died during the 2nd batle of Mannassas in Virginia in Aug of 1863. He and Rachel Templeton Hayes are buried at SKIRUM Methodist

Hugh and Ruth Wymer Melrose had two children, Wendell H. and Patricia L. born in Sept 1943 at Ashland, Kansas. They are twins. Ruth raised her children at Protection, Kansas and Dodge City, Kansas. Ruth never remarried. She was always a widow.
