John Calvin Kelley's plane has been found after 64 years. It was C47 #43-438308 to view the find go to miarecoveries.org If you had a loved one on this plane please contact me at suekrall@roadrunner.com we are working on bringing them home now that they have been found.commented on this image. John Calvin Kelley served with the 10th Air Force, 7th Bambardment Group (Heavy), 493 Bombardment Squadron. On Nov 14, 1943 He was shot down over Burma. He was captured by the Japanese and put in Rangoon Prison where he died of Severe Burns. On May 17, 1946 his body was put on a C47 to bring home and that plane went down and he has never been found.

John Schermer served in WW II over in Germany. He married Amy Kelley from Tennessee and had two children, John and Susan.
