John Watts, store keeper for a while in what became Hollywood- various tales are told about him in the earlly histories of Hollywood, most of them inaccurate. He left Los Angeles at the end of 1900 and wsa an accountant in Lambeth before going into the oil broking business - and certainly by this time he commuted between Argentina and Britain.
