as noted, my GGGrandfather Micael Foley was the officer mentioned in the inquest article - and was later dismissed from the SFPD because of his involvement in Shanahan's arrest. Said John Shanahan was a saloon proprietor at 10th and Folsom Sts.commented on this Spotlight. (04 May 2010)
