Hi, I am related to most of the characters in this story thru my mother Susie Gayheart.. I am related to Clifton, my ancestor was Adeline Mosley, sister to his mother. My ancestor John Moore II was related to Anderson. I am also related to the McCurrys. Also of interest my father's line is related to the Branhams and also Devil Anse Hatfield. I am writing a book on this story and the Hatfield story. Note that most of the characters in Floyd and Pike counties were related one way or another.....if not by blood then marriage. ...more
