This was another favorite Brady photo of mine. When consider the Union had Butler's big stand on the opposite bank, this was rather puny and scary. I would call this "wind in the willows." Jerri

Very interesting. I had used a number of the Brady photos for a Civil War exhibit at the Chesterfield Co. Historical Museum. What a treasure he left us. I had seen this figure and wondered about it. Thanks for clearing that up and sharing. Jerri
