Dee Bates was my Grandfather, he married Estelle Caton in Chilton Co, AL and born five children, He was born in 1897 died in 1938. Estelle Ma Bates never remarried she lived and died in Chilton Co, AL both are buried at Providence #2- beat 16.

My Uncle- married to Ruby , son to Dee Bates and Estell Ma Bates, lived in Arizona most of his life moved back to Coosa County and lived on the Coosa River for 15 years, was living in Maplesville, AL when he died, buried at Providence #2 Chilton Co, Beat 16- brothers Shorty Bates, Earl Bates, sisters- Lucille Hurtt, Dutch Baker.

Married Bevie Bates- no children, lived and died in Chilton Co, AL buried at Providence #2- Beat 16.... better kown as Uncle Sid.....
