Ludwig Goss, Jacob Goss & Martin Goss from Northumberland County, PA were German speaking immigrants probably from Basel Canton, Switzerland. They may be related to the Frederick Goss of Rowan County who originally came from Rothenfluh, Basel Canton in 1727 and settled among the Ephrata followers of Conrad Biessel before moning to NC abt 1760.commented on this image. This David is definetly the father of my grandfather's father David Findley Arendt. However, birth year calculation is problematic and did his wife Isabella (Baily) Arendt really have her first child at age 13? I don't trust ages of the parents. The ages of the children are as expected.
