I teach History at BYU-Idaho. My PhD is in Classical Languages from the University of Washington (1986). I married Phyllis Lyman (from Oregon). We have four children: Todd, Courtney, Whitney, Mark; two in-laws (Cade, Kristie) and nine grandchildren.
