Until now I did not know that Samuel White had 3 children. I knew of Otis but had not been aware of Washington and Edany. Edany is a name I have never heard of before. Otis farmed south of Three Rivers, Michigan. At one time they lived in the Mendon, MI area. I have never been able to find the names of Samuels parents nor the grave site of Adalaide. Samuel and Adalaide are my GGGrandparents. Otis White their youngest son was my GGrandfather. Samuel was KIA at Blounts Farm in Alabama late in the afternoon of May 2 1863. Not far from Turkeytown, AL. He was buried not far from the house which still stands along with others killed that day on Streights Raid. I have with the help of SCV visited the battle site.
