This Andrew JOHNSON is the son of David JOHNSON and Dicy BROCK; David and I believe all of his sons served with the Ky. 49th Infantry and it seems Andrew re enlisted and was sent to another Ky. Infantry where he enlisted for a period of three years. There was an Adrew Johnson who helped many in Harlan Co. KY and surrounding areas apply for their civil war pensions. Mathias Coleman was born in Britten, Merizig, Rheinland Phalz and emigrated to the U.S abt. 1836 to Ohio and lived in Clermont Co.Ohio until his death. His widow was Sarah Gates (Gates was first husband) Mathias was the son of Peter Coleman and Elizabeth Everhardy of Britten; his father died in Cincinnati Ohio of Cholera according to his widow's pension record.
