My Great Uncle. He was on a hunting trip and was sleeping in the back of the truck in a camper. His friend was driving. They were towing a jeep. He thought they were parked, but they were at a stop light. He stepped out of the truck and the jeep ran over him, killing him. An inquest was held. He is buried in the Lexington Cemetery in Lexington, OK

This is not BA Phillips. They were in the same regiment, but Abraham was killed at Wilderness. Proof of death in B.A. Phillips packet. B.A. Phillips died in 1903. Abram enlisted in Raleigh, NC; BA Philips enlisted in East Bend, NC
