I also wore Herndon A Bevins bracelet. I picked it out at Keesler AFB, MS. I was an Air Force wife. My children also wore a bracelet of an MIA. Herndon went missing on my Birthday (37th). This way I never forgot the day. I also would like his family to know that I still look at the bracelet and say a prayer for them. I found his name back in 1985 when the moving wall was in Melbourne FL in Wickham Park. I felt a closeness even though I never met him physically.
