No idea how this record got mangled, but this is my great-uncle. He wasn't Japanese, he wasn't born in 1932, he wasn't born in Alaska and he wasn't married... but he did reside and enlist in Anne Arundel Co., Maryland. There are only so many Lewnes men out there (the family changed the name from the original Greek Liounis after they immigrated) so I'm certain I haven't confused Thomas J Lewnes-es in AA Co., MD. Can't seem to figure out how to view the original record that is listed as the source, but suspect OCR went awry here? ...more
